How to Join the Faces Of the Olympics Project

  1. Find some one who has been to an Olympic Games either as a competitor, spectator or official.(Click here to see our Ideas page.)
  2. Arrange to interview them about their experiences. Be sure to note down
        - their name
        - which Olympic Games they went to
        - what they did there

        - who or what helped them achieve success?
       - did they have a good time?
       - what was their best memory of being there?
        - what were their tips for success?
        - what they thought about the Games

        - anything else that you like to include about these Games (you might like to do some more         research on the Internet or in your school or local library).

You might also like to tape record or video the interview and take some pictures!
  3. Once you have interviewed your person, you need to write this up and email the story to us.

To do this, you can use the our Template, or type the story up using Microsoft Word. If you have any pictures, please save them as either GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg) files. Movie files need to be saved as ".mov".
  4. When the story and any pictures are ready to be sent, please email them to Faces of the Olympics [olympics@mtpleasps.vic.edu.au] as an attachment. (If you are not sure how to do this, please email us!)
  5. After we receive your story, we will add it to the Stories page.

If you have any questions, please email Faces of the Olympics.
